The Cisco Catalyst 3850 48 Port PoE LAN Base is part of the Cisco family which provides the broadest line of solutions for transporting data, voice and video while ensuring that networks both public and private operate with maximum performance, security, and flexibility. This stackable switch provides full convergence between wired and wireless on a single platform. The switch is powered by Cisco's Unified Access Data Plane (UADP) application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) which enables uniform wired-wireless policy enforcement, application visibility, flexibility and application optimization. The WS-C3850-48P-L is part of the Cisco Catalyst 3850 series switches which supports full IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), modular and field-replaceable network modules, redundant fans and power supplies.
