While silver softboxes are loved for their punchy contrast, the white interior diffuses the flash much more evenly across the modifier's surface. This dramatically reduces hotspots and produces a gentler, more wrapping light with smoother transitions between highlights and shadows. • Instant Umbrella Setup: Say goodbye to wrestling with tension rods on set. The speed ring is built directly into the fabric of the softbox, allowing you to pop the entire unit open and securely lock it onto your flash in seconds. When you are done, it folds down flat just like an umbrella.

If you intend to use this softbox with Profoto's smaller battery-powered A-series speedlights (like the A10 or A2), you will need to purchase the separately available Profoto OCF Adapter II.

Additionally, because the white interior absorbs slightly more light than a silver interior, you will notice a small drop in overall flash output. If you are shooting at long distances or trying to violently overpower the midday sun, a silver interior version might be more efficient for your specific needs.
