• Absolute Power Readout: This is the most significant workflow upgrade. Instead of just showing ambiguous "+/-" exposure compensation numbers, the Connect Pro communicates directly with compatible Profoto flashes to display their exact absolute power setting (e.g., 8.5) right on the remote's screen.

• Massive, Clear Display: The remote features a beautifully bright, extra-large digital display that is incredibly easy to read in both pitch-black studios and glaring midday sun. The interface is remarkably intuitive, relying on physical buttons and a tactile control dial rather than deep, frustrating menus.

• AirX Bluetooth Integration: It features built-in Bluetooth AirX. This allows you to mirror the remote's display to your smartphone via the Profoto Control app, letting an assistant adjust flash power from an iPad while you keep shooting.

• Seamless TTL & HSS: Shoot in TTL (Auto) to get a perfect base exposure instantly, then flip to Manual mode—the remote will lock in that exact power setting so you can tweak it from there. It also fully supports High-Speed Sync (HSS) for overpowering the sun at wide-open apertures.

Because this is the Fujifilm Dedicated version, the metal contact pins on the hot shoe foot are specifically mapped to communicate with Fujifilm cameras. While you could technically mount it on a different camera brand (like Canon or Sony) and trigger lights manually via the center pin, you would completely lose TTL auto-exposure, High-Speed Sync, and the absolute power readout features.

Additionally, unlike the older, buttonless "Profoto Connect" (which used a built-in rechargeable battery), the Connect Pro is powered by three standard AAA batteries. This is a massive advantage for working professionals, as you can instantly swap in fresh batteries on set rather than waiting for an internal battery to recharge via USB.
