The NSComm NS-QSFP112‑400G‑SR4 is a high-density optical transceiver optimized for 400 Gigabit Ethernet and InfiniBand HDR connectivity. It delivers up to 425 Gbps (4×106.25 Gbps PAM4 lanes) over multimode fiber (MMF) using a single MPO‑12 interface at 850 nm.
Designed for data centers, it supports link lengths up to 70 m on OM3 and 100 m on OM4 fiber, and offers hot-pluggable installation and Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM).

Built to conform with 400GBASE‑SR4 (IEEE 802.3bs) and QSFP112 MSA standards, the module integrates a VCSEL laser array and PIN photodiode receiver per lane. It supports FEC (Forward Error Correction), includes onboard DSP with clock/data recovery, and maintains power consumption under 9 W. It functions reliably within a commercial operating range of 0 °C to 70 °C. It can also support 200G breakout operation when used in 2‑channel mode.
