Designed to the 400GBASE‑DR4 specification, the module converts four 106.25 Gbps PAM4 electrical channels into optical lanes, enabling 400 Gbps throughput over MPO‑12 SMF fiber. It can be used in breakout mode for 2×200G or 4×100G applications, subject to host FEC support.
The transceiver integrates EML lasers per lane and PIN photodiode receivers in combination with KP4 FEC for reliable signal integrity. Power consumption remains under 10 W, and operating temperature is rated from 0 °C to 70 °C.
