The NSComm 400G OSFP to OSFP Direct Attach Copper Cable (DAC) is a cost-effective, ultra-low latency interconnect solution for 400 Gigabit Ethernet short-reach applications in hyperscale data centers, cloud environments, and HPC clusters. With integrated OSFP connectors on both ends, this DAC eliminates the need for separate optical transceivers and patch cords, delivering plug-and-play performance.
Built with twinax copper conductors and a durable PVC jacket, the passive DAC supports lengths up to 3 m (10 ft) while consuming virtually no power. For extended deployments, active copper DACs reach up to 5 m (16 ft) at ≤ 4 W per end, ensuring efficiency and reliability. It offers excellent EMI immunity, robust signal integrity, and consistent low latency.
