MMA1L10-CR Cross-Reference: LR4 vs CWDM4 vs SR4
Short answer: MMA1L10-CR is NVIDIA/Mellanox's 100GbE QSFP28 LR4 module, with duplex LC on single-mode fiber up to 10km. For a link under 2km, a CWDM4 module (MMA1L30-CR in NVIDIA's lineup) usually costs less. Inside a building on multimode fiber, SR4 is the cheapest option. LR4 only links to LR4: both ends of the fiber need the same optic type.
