The Lexmark CS820de (21K0200) is a print-only color laser printer for letter, legal and A4 paper. It prints up to 60 pages a minute in color or black, and the first page can be out in as little as 7 seconds.

Lexmark's 4800 Color Quality mode runs at the default 60 pages a minute, so you do not give up speed for sharper color. PANTONE calibration and spot color replacement help match brand colors. A ColorSaver setting cuts toner use on drafts. Print quality reaches 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.

A quad-core 1.33 GHz processor runs the jobs. Memory starts at 1 GB and grows to 3 GB. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen runs the menus. You get USB 2.0, a USB host port and Gigabit Ethernet, and Apple AirPrint is supported.

Lexmark rates the duty cycle at up to 200,000 pages a month. The printer measures 22 x 20.6 x 21.1 inches and weighs about 137 pounds, and it runs on 120 V power. It is ENERGY STAR rated, and Lexmark says its Unison toner saves energy. The e-Task screen also runs Lexmark's apps.
