The Juniper EX9208-BASE3A-AC is a base configuration modular chassis in the EX9200 Series, built for high-density campus aggregation and data center environments. This 8U chassis includes the core hardware required to start an EX9208 deployment: one EX9200-SF2 switch fabric module, one EX9200-RE routing engine module, one fan tray, one air filter kit, and three 2520W AC power supplies.

The EX9208 platform is designed for scalability and high availability, with support for up to six hot-removable/hot-insertable line cards and redundant, load-sharing power architecture. The chassis can support up to four AC or DC power supplies (without mixing AC and DC in the same chassis), and major components such as power supplies, fan tray, and line cards are field-replaceable units (FRUs) for easier maintenance and serviceability.

Please note that line cards are not included in the base chassis configuration and must be ordered separately based on the required port density and interface type.
