The Godox iT32 TTL Mini Flash completely rewrites the rules for ultra-compact lighting. Instead of buying a specific flash dedicated to Canon, Nikon, Sony, or Fujifilm, the iT32 features a revolutionary magnetic modular design. The flash unit itself has no brand allegiance—it is a standalone "head" that snaps magnetically onto a tiny, brand-specific hot shoe module called the Godox X5 (sold separately, or in brand-specific bundles).

This brilliant design solves the biggest headaches in flash photography. When attached to the X5 trigger on your camera, it acts as a traditional on-camera TTL flash. But if you want to switch to off-camera lighting, you simply yank the flash head off the magnetic base. The X5 stays on your camera and instantly becomes a wireless 2.4GHz transmitter, while the iT32 in your hand instantly becomes a wireless off-camera slave. No menus, no pairing—just grab the light and move it.

• Instant Off-Camera Transition: Pulling the flash head off the magnetic X5 base instantly transitions your setup from on-camera direct flash to off-camera wireless flash. You can hold the iT32 at arm's length for side fill or place it anywhere in the room, while the X5 base on your camera triggers it flawlessly.

• Brand Agnostic (End System Lock): If you shoot with multiple camera systems (e.g., a Canon main body and a Fujifilm fun camera), you only need to buy one iT32 flash. You simply buy an inexpensive X5 module for each camera brand (X5C, X5N, X5F, X5S, or X5O) and magnetically snap the flash onto whichever camera you are using that day.

Additionally, because the lithium battery is internal, you must plug the unit into a power bank or wall outlet via USB-C to recharge it. Finally, while it is incredibly versatile, its low Guide Number of 18m means it is best suited for close-to-mid-range portraiture, event fill lighting, and street photography, rather than overpowering the midday sun from a distance.
