It is intended for compatible UL 555 and UL 555S listed fire/smoke damper assemblies in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Mounting orientation determines clockwise or counterclockwise travel, while a mechanical indicator shows actuator position. Electronic overload protection operates throughout the rotation range, and the spring mechanism stores energy during powered travel for the return stroke.
